Aadhalal Kaadhal Seiveer (AKS) is a love story of youths, their sufferings when things go wrong in their love and its impact on their respective families. 

The movie deals with the story of college student Karthik (Santosh), a cool dude, who he falls in love with Shwetha (Manisha Yadav). Things turn worse in the love story when they involve in careless dating.

Suseenthiran, who has directed village based drama like, Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu and Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai is back with his favourite theme love. He has handled the film bravely without compromising on the message it sets out to deliver to the audiences. 

The plot deals with the ups and downs of the love in the Student life, and how the present day youths fool their parents is the plus point of the movie. But, the portrayal of love and youth carelessly dating scenes lack the credibility. 

AKS doesn't present a chauvinistic view of the issue, but highlights how carelessly youngsters take decisions in life without even an iota of guilt or responsibility. It also presents a viewpoint of the elders. 

To top it all, AKS has a very powerful and unexpected climax to send us back home with a heavy heart. This is only to remind us about the harsh realities of our society and how we have been living amidst all this.

Vikram's Ai which is directed by Shankar was recently renamed as Ai by director Shankar, the latest buzz says that the movie will be released in 2014 in 17 languages across the globe. 

Director Shankar, who recently updated his blog Ai the movie is getting delayed because it is taking lot of time for the Vikram's body physical changes and he says it would be worth.

Shankar and Vikram combination has given a hit earlier in the form of Anniyan in the year 2005. Anniyan was a story of a Barhmin Lawyer with multiple personality disorder.

Shooting of AI is almost 75 Percentage completed. Currently the crew is in NewZealand. After finishing the schedule the crew landed in Chennai for shooting the climax scene in private hospital and Ai Movie is slated to release in 2014.

Ajith have luck for Tapsee Date?

Taapsee Pannu who is already shared screen with Dhanush in Aadukalam is now sharing screen with Ajith Kumar in upcoming Tamil flick Arrambam says she would choose Thala Ajith if she want to go a date.

When it was asked Taapsee whom would she like to go on date, the actress immediate response was none other than Thala Ajith.

Talking about Ajith Kumar, Taapsee said, "I love to have a nice conversation with Ajith with some good food. Ajith is a gentlemen and venerable person." 

In early July, the actress said that Ajith Kumar was a very family oriented person, down to earth and he is least bothered about his stardom.

Arrambam release on this year, the movie has Ajith Kumar, Nayantara, Arya and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles.

The much expected movie Thalaivaa released on August 9 got a expected opening across the world, exceptt in Tamil Nadu. The theater owners decision has become a big loss for the Thalaivaa team. On the other hand, the decision benefits Shahrukh Khan starrer Chennai Express which was released on the same day. 

Chennai Express starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone was well received in Tamil Nadu. On Wednesday, advance booking for Thalaivaa was stopped in many theaters due to a bomb threats. 

Controversies of Thalaivaa became a boon for Shahrukh's Chennai Express. As many theatres decided to refund the money, people preferred to watch Chennai Express as it was also released on the same day. Thalaivaa release controversies has been already opposed by many Tamil film stars in social networking sites.

Story: Don Sathyaraj sends his son vijay to foreign because sathyaraj want vijay life to be happy. But when a son return to   Mumbai to see his dad. Sudenly all things are changed, vijay in a position to step his fathr shoes.

Review : Sathyaraj who is the savior of tamilans who loving in mumbai. Sathyaraj life goes about punishing those whom the law fails to punish.

Vijay is a only son of sathyaraj living in sydney. Romancing and dances with his lady Amala Paul. For the sake of Marriage discussion both have happy trip to mumbai. But this trip ends with gruelling one in mumbai the Suspense is handled good.

Circumstances around vijay force him to choose a life of the father. He turns messiah of the Tamil people in Mumbai.

Vijay acting is top. Sathyaraj does the effective don role. Santhanam Poker faced humour provides relief from the large action drama.

Thalaivaa released in Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra

Vijay fans gets disappointment in Tamil Nadu due to Thalaivaa Movie Postponed which was supposed to hit the screens on August 9. The film has received good response From countries Dubai, Canada and Singapore and also from south indian states like Kerala, Karnataka and andhra. In Tamil Nadu due to the problems surrounding the film it gets postponed without announcing the release date. 

Vendhar movies had approached the Tamil Nadu government seeking police protection across the state for all theatres. However Police turned down the request stating challenges that would arise in a requirement of such a large scale. The film starring Vijay and Amala Paul in the lead with Sathyaraj playing a important role.

Vijay earlier informed Thalaivaa is a complete family entertainer with romance, action and comedy and it is not a political film.

Will Thalaivaa Release on August 9?

Ilayathalapathy Vijay Thalaivaa film is expected to hit the screens Friday (August 9) appears to be facing release issues.  Advance booking for the film has been sold out for the opening day theatres also stopped the advance booking due to threats regarding possible violence received.

Vijay clarified in a Press release this not a political drama. It is a complete family entertainer with all the necessary  including romance, action and comedy.  Vijay has further clarified that the film is not against any political group or individuals and has requested the peoples not to fall on these rumours.

Meanwhile, there is an uncertainty over the release of the film starring Vijay, Santhanamand Amala Paul in the lead. The actors and crew members associated with the movie convened for a meeting yesterday evening where no resolution was reached and the decision is expected to be taken during the meeting scheduled on Thursday.

Biriyani audio release on Independence Day

The audio launch of Venkat Prabhu's Biriyani, which was supposed to release on August 10 or 11 has been pushed to August 15 (Independence Day). The film has Karthi and Hansika in the lead and music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. 

The audio launch will be held at a star hotel in Chennai. The Venkat Prabhu-Yuvan Shankar Raja combination has always worked well. Let's wait and watch if this album too hits the bulls eye.

Thalaivaa in 450 screens in TN

 

Vijay's Thalaivaa is all set to rock the screens for Eid on August 9 releasing in more than 450 screens in Tamil Nadu alone and would have a total of 1000 screens worldwide. Thalaivaa is one of the most expected films of the year as it stars Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the lead role pairing up with Amala Paul for the first time.

Produced by Sri Mishri Productions Chandraparakash Jain the film is said to be an action entertainer which has Sathyaraj and Santhanam among others in important roles, while the music is scored by G V Prakash. The film will be distributed in Tamil Nadu by Vendhar Movies S Madhan.

Also in the starcast are Ragini Nandwani, Abhimanyu Singh, Nassar, Rajiv Pillai, Udhaya, Ponvannan, Y Gee Mahendra, Suresh, Manobala, Subbu Panchu, Thambi Ramaiah, Rekha and Ravi Prakash.

Irandam Ulagam audio launched

 

 

The audio of Irandam Ulagam, one of the most awaited films was launched this morning. The album was launched by none other than ace director Mani Ratnam and actor Suriya. 

The film, directed by Selvaraghavan is said to be a fantasy thriller and has Aryan and Anushka in the lead. Music for the film is by Harris Jayaraj. This is the first time that Selvaraghavan has teamed up with the hit music director Harris Jayaraj. The film is expected to hit screens in September.

Irandam Ulagam (English: The second world) is an upcoming Indian romantic drama film Tamil and dubbed in Telugu (titled as Varna) languages by PVP Cinema. The film is directed by Selvaraghavan and stars Arya along with Anushka Shetty. The music is composed by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography is handled by Ramji.

Dhanush and Harris Jayaraj come together

Director KV Anand is all set to join hands with AGS Entertainment after his last release Maattraan. This time around, he will be teaming up with Dhanush for the film. This is the first time the composer is scoring music for the lanky actor, though the latter had a sung a song in Irandam Ulagam for Harris. The composer is a regular in all Harris' films. Let's see if the combination works well. 

In the meantime, the production house has many interesting projects including Vai Raja Vai, Sarasawathi Sabatham and Irumbu Kuthirai to name a few.
